Design Assist (Interdisciplinary Collaboration)
We believe in a collaborative effort to resolve complex construction issues and to bring the necessary stakeholders (design consultants) sooner rather than later. Leveraging our experience and knowledge in the fields of design, structural engineering, grading/excavation, soil analysis, and actual construction we engage the necessary professionals to build a complete cost and scope of repair. By performing Design Assist services, our client avoid the additional cost for others to relearn the projects deficiencies we already found. The firms we engage in have decades of experience in their specific fields (architects, structural engineers, soil engineers). By utilizing specialized consultants, they can advocate their needs absent any conflicts of interest.
Reconstruction Management
Our unique knowledge of the project through our forensic investigation translates to synthesized instructions to bidders (scope of reapir) and accurate bids. Given specific knowledge of the project we leverage that learning curve jump start the repair process saving the client time and money. Having experience as both are construction contractor and forensic expert allows Avelar Corp to wholistically manage the project from finding the first defect to handing over the keys at completion. Leveraging our experience as a repair contractor we can insure the bids are validated and accurate.
Code Review
Our team has extensive experience and knowledge of applicable building codes, municipal requirements, state energy standards, and more. In addition to applicable codes, we have extensive experience in entitlements (site use restrictions and planning guidelines).
With regards to accident investigation, Avelar Corp OSHA trained staff have extensive knowledge in CCR Title 8 (Cal OSHA). We provide necessary investigation and site specific testing to provide empirical data to support the client’s case.
